Rejoicing Ceremony for Rig-ngag Gyatso Rinpoche

To welcome Rig-ngag Gyatso Rinpoche for his first teachings in Thailand and to rejoice with his completion of the three-year Dzogchen retreat as well as to celebrate his new monastery in Tibet (Dampa Rangdrol Gompa), the Foundation organized a traditional Thai ceremony as a token of our joy and gratitude to him this past Sunday.

Offering flower and fragrant water to Rinpoche

Rinpoche gives blessings to us.

After the ceremony, Rinpoche shared with us his experiences of doing the three-year retreat. The rigorous Dzogchen training was a source of inspiration for many of us. Rinpoche encouraged everyone to do ngondro (preliminary practices), which is the first step for many trainings and retreats throughout our lifetime.
