Memory from Body & Mind Conference

Khru Dol of Jiivit Sikkha led the prayer from the Theravada tradition.

Aj. Setapong recited the Heart Sutra in Chinese and prayed to Amitapha Buddha to relieve the suffering of the Japanese victims.

Vajrayana prayer: “If I am happy, I dedicate my happiness to those who seek it. May happiness spread in the sky! If I suffer, I take others’ suffering upon myself. May the ocean of suffering dry out!

Aj. Soraj gave a short opening speech. This is the second Body and Mind conference the foundation organized. The first one was an international conference in 2006.

Young staff and volunteers helped with registration and Tibetan fair.

Dr. Issarang recounted his experiences caring for terminally ill children patients. The aim of his foundation is to make the kids’ dream come true.

K. Nidda Hongwiwat, publisher of the Saengdad Media Group talked on natural way of healing and eating.

Aj. Krisadawan gave a report on Pandara activities and talked on healing Tibetan way.

Aj. Parichart introduced the concept of “dialog” in body-mind work to the audience.

Aj. Taweesak recounted his experiences using the Buddha-dharma in healing himself from cancer.

Thanks to the speakers, Ple (MC), Amy, Nuch, Nong-On and family, Tor, House, Kan, Sherab and all who made this conference possible.
