Sewing Prayer Flags for Mantra Stupa

Mantra Stupa is a dome structure in a shape of a stupa made of thousands of prayer flags. This year we will make a new one as an offering to Buddhas on the upcoming occasion of Asanha Puja and Buddhist Lent next month. The Mantra Stupa has been used as a site for meditation and dharma reflections.

To cultivate compassion and to promote love and peace, the foundation is organizing a volunteer activity “sewing prayer flags” for the making of a new mantra stupa at the foundation house, Ladprao Soi 11, on 3-4 July 2010, 9.30 am -5.30 pm.
