Learning Ancient Art

This past Saturday, which was Valentine’s Day, six people came to the Foundation House to learn Tibetan calligraphy. Although the class was small, we had a great class. It was a special joy for me to see this ancient art being transmitted in Thailand. I’m grateful to Yontan, who tirelessly shares Tibetan ancient wisdom with us.

hung“I chose to write the syllable “Hung” because it represents Buddha’s mind and I want to achieve that mind.”

om-ah-hung “Om Ah Hung” in Uchen script with “Tashi” (Auspicious) in Chyuyik script or fast writing.
