Special Activity between Woman & Home Magazine  and the Thousand Stars Foundation to celebrate the month of love and compassion and to learn Tibetan ancient wisdom.

Discover your inner self, learn to write calligraphy, an ancient art from the Himalaya, watch a Tibetan film among the stars, and rest your body & mind in a peaceful environment amidst mountains, lakes, forest and beautiful nature.

The entire program is conducted in Thai.

7 February

13.00 Leave Bangkok

16.30 Arrive at Khadiravana Center; welcome drink; rest

17.30 Dinner

19.00 Enjoy beautiful nature at Khadiravana and watch a Tibetan film 

21.30 Go to bed mindfully with peace in our heart

8 February

6.00 Wake up with the sacred sound of a Tibetan trumpet and breathe fresh morning air

6.30 Prostration yoga

7.30 Rest

8.45 Breakfast

9.45 Dream mandala by Aj. Kunh Sucharitakul

10.45 Informal talk on “buttered tea operation” by Dr. Krisadawan Hongladarom. A quest to know the true nature of your mind. Tibetan tea and tsampa will be served.

12.00 Lunch

13.00  Workshop on Tibetan calligraphy by Aj. Meu Yontan. 

15.00 Learn about yourself, observe your mind and practice breathing through “Mantra and Wind ”

16.00 Inner awakening exercise – learn to be with yourself, contemplate on outer and inner nature 

17.00 Rest

18.30 Dinner

20.00 Night activity to lighten up your soul “Meditation and Mantra” to celebrate Tibetan New Year and Maghapuja. Circumambulate the mantra stupa in a peaceful and silent environment with sparkling candle lights.

22.00 Go to bed mindfully and with compassion

9 February 

6.00 Wake up with the sacred sound of Tibetan trumpet and breathe fresh morning air

6.30 Prostration yoga; Dream mandala

7.30 Rest

8.30 Breakfast

9.30 Leave Khadiravana Center

12.00 Souvenir stops on the way; lunch on your own convenience

15.00 Arrive in Bangkok safely

Registration deadline: 20 January 2009

Cost: 3,500 baht (Woman & Home member 20% discount =2,800 baht) including all activities, workshops, travels, travel insurance, tents (two persons/per tent), all meals and snacks. A partial contribution goes to the Thousand Stars Foundation.
